About Me

A 24-year-old Black woman from the Dirty South, I hail from Laurel, Mississippi. Coming from a family grounded in tough love and introspection, I have had the benefits of their teachings lead me to attending Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. There, I majored in Psychology with a minor in Education Studies. Through my intellectual community and interpersonal relationships, I’ve nourished and engaged in difficult dialogues, service, and social advocacy. The environment of Spelman and the AUC encouraged me to grow in the most positive of ways. There, I’ve had the most transformative experiences that have caused me to maneuver in a more loving and intentional way. It is my hope that this blog becomes my outlet and voice to inspire, educate, and motivate others to invest in their spiritual and emotional wellness. Enjoy <3
